The impressive Old National Gallery was reopened in December 2001, after a complete restoration.
This museum features work from artists like Caspar David Friedrich, Lovis Corinth and Adolph Menzel, and impressionists such as Monet, Renoir, Cézanne, and Degas. There is also a wide variety of 19th-century European art to view and also featured at The Old National Gallery are some of the paintings that were previously on view at the Gallery of the Romantics at Schloss Charlottenburg. Also on show are some sculptures by Rodin, amongst others.
Open: Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday to Sunday 10:00 to 18:00, Thursday 10:00 to 22:00
