The Sammlung Berggruen gallery is situated immediately opposite the Egyptian Museum and offers over 75 paintings, drawings and sculptures by Picasso in an exhibition entitled 'Picasso and His Time'. This exhibition is on loan to the museum by a private art collector and the display offers a fascinating insight into his work, over a period of many years.
The gallery also features numerous other works of art, including work by Paul Klee, Cézanne and Van Gogh, together with some interesting African sculptures, and this was originally the inspiration for some of the work by Picasso and Klee.
Open: Tuesday to Friday 10:00 to 18:00, Saturday and Sunday 11:00 to 18:00
